In-Line Centrifugal Fans

CECO In-Line Centrifugal Fans combine the best attributes of axial-flow and centrifugal fans. In-Line fans are centrifugal wheels and inlet cones mounted in a tubular housing.

ILC fans feature heavy-gauge welding steel construction with angle rings and full-length legs. Inlet baffles maximize the volume and direction of the air at the inlet orifice. Straightening vans welded into the housing direct the flow of air away from the centrifugal wheel.

A ridged welded base mounted a top-quality electric motor. The centrifugal wheel, directly coupled to the motor shaft, is dynamically balanced for smooth operation and long, trouble free life. All wheels are backward inclined, non-overloading airfoil type, designed for the most efficient air delivery without pulsation throughout the operating range.

The ILC fans, like all CECO products are protected by a all hot dipped galvanized housing. Heavy welded-wire inlet guards are standard. Every unit must pass in extensive factory stress tested before it is shipped, to assure that installation, start-up, and many years of service will be simple and trouble-free.

ILC fans meet a wide variety of needed, and are made to interchange easily with axial-flow fans. They deliver lower volumes, but are capable of operating at substantially higher pressures than axial. They offer a low price alternative to traditional centrifugal fans. An added benefit is greatly reduced noise levels compared to axial fans. In agricultural applications, they should be used in positive aeration systems only.
